Question from Oscar

Hi! Are these stoppers compatible with Plum Guide bindings? And if so, I have a ski that is 93mm in the waist, will the 105mm break work or is it too wide?

Regards, Oscar.

Answer from jbo

Hi Oscar, yes these will slide in the crampon slot of the Guide binding. 105 would work fine.

Question from John B

Hey JBo! I was wondering what size you would recommend for the Hagan Cirrus ski (at a 170cm length)? It seems like the 75 would work perfectly. Just wanting to confirm. Thank you!

Hi John, yeah the 75 is the ticket!

Hi there, any idea when the 105 mm width brakes will come in ? I was wanting to place an order with some other items that would arrive in Australia to allow for for fitting before we leave on Jan 22.

Question from Magnus

For a pair of BD Carbon Aspect, I should go with the 90mm width?

Answer from jbo

Hi Magnus, depending on the length of your boot, the 90mm brakes fit perfectly or possibly require just a slight bend to fit the Aspects.

Question from Bernard

Do the brakes also work with Scarpa F1-boots? Normally there would be those black spacers underneath the soles in order to prevent the boot from too much flexing when skiing down. Are the brakes sturdy enough to serve as replacements e.g. in my Dynafit Speed Turn bindings?

Answer from jbo

Hi Bernard, your Speed Turns have brakes? I would say these aren't quite as beefy as Radical ST/FT brakes, but can certainly stop a ski. As far as the F1, you wouldn't be able to use supports and this brake at the same time, but the brake could offer some support itself.

I noticed in a Kreuzspitze video about these brakes, the skier is using F1s…

Question from John Baldwin

Can the brake be locked so that you can leave it on your ski while you walk uphill?
12/21/2014
Answer from jbo

Hi John, there is no locking mechanism so you need to remove the brake for uphill (untwist the mounted lock and it slide out of the crampon slot).

Hi John, Kreuzspitze just added that length and we will have some in our next shipment. Probably not till January realistically.
