Question from albert

I'd like to install quiver killers for use with dynafit radical bindings. Can you please tell what you can assemble for necessary materials (inserts, screws, tap...).

Thanks!

Answer from jbo

Hi Albert, we have the Installation Kit available with the drill bit, tap, and insertion tool. The Inserts are sold separately, you need 16 for a Radical. The fasteners are available in kits for each binding.

Question from Nick

Curious as to what length screw to use for quiver killing the KREUZSPITZE SCTT adjustable heel plate? I'm imagining the Speed Turn 2.0 fasteners are what I'm looking for but not positive. Thanks for the help!

Answer from jbo

Hi Nick, actually you need flat heads for those plates, not the pan heads used for Turn heels. I just added a Kreuzspitze fastener kit for you.

Question from Tony

Any downside to using these on race skis other than the weight?

Answer from jbo

Hi Tony, the ones we've done seem to be holding up fine. Installation effort is a downside.

Question from Andreas M

I'm a bit confused by the ordering options. I have installed Binding Freedom inserts on all my other skis, and would like to on a new pair of skis with a new pair of bindings, but they're out of stock of the appropriate screw lengths (12mm lowhead). According to Chris W's review, you can use BF / QK screws and inserts interchangeably. Is that correct?
Also, do the "Fritschi Vipec Fasteners - $5.95" include all 16 screws (8 ea 10mm smallhead, 8 ea 12mm lowhead)? So I'd just need to order 1 of that item plus 16 inserts?

Answer from jbo

Hi Andreas, correct on all counts.

Question from Sam

i'm interested in the kit for the speed turn. I was wondering about longer ss screws that would allow me to use Quiver killers with b&d 6.4 mm shims. I also don't see a link to purchase the Pro Tool Kit? thanks.

Answer from jbo

Hi Sam, you would need 16mm flat heads for that combo. We are currently out of stock on the insert kit, more expected next week.

Question from Eric

Jason - Do you have fasteners for speed turn and expedition heel pieces? Do you think the spacing between mount holes on these heels is sufficient?
Thanks!

Answer from jbo

Hi Eric, the Expedition heels use the same fasteners as the Speed Turn toes, so you should be set with one Speed Turn kit. The spacing is probably sufficient for skis with reasonably reinforced mounting areas.

Question from Anders

Hi
I am planning to mount a pair of Dynafit ST bindings on a pair of Dynafit Stoke skis. I am thinking about a set of quiver killers.
1. Whichquiver killer set should I order on your website?
2. One set is for 2 skis?
3. Which drill bit should I order for a mount with quiver killers?

Answer from jbo

Hi Anders, yes the fastener kits are for a pair of skis. The inserts require a special kit for installation, containing a wide drill bit, tap, and insert tool. We are out of stock of the Radical ST fasteners and installation kit, but will get more.
