I did about 7 sessions on the Aliens 1.0 now and I am happy with the boots so far but will update this review once I use them more. They feel (are) a bit larger overall than Dynafit or Pierre Gignoux boots but weight wise they feel great - I have size 28 and they are 746g/boot. Walk mode feels as good as my old first generation Gignoux and cuff feels stiffer in a forward lean than on those Gignoux. One thing I am still solving is a bit too much vertical space for my foot, but I have this with most ski boot...

That is if you have the (right) pin :) I think that pin is useless/not strong enough if it shears on a second day. However, this hasn't stopped me from using the binding and being happy with it ;)

I have used this helmet for about 10 times but decided to sell as it didn't fit my head very well, however, I believe it fits other people you see using it very well. If you don't have a narrow head or narrower forehead then you should try it before you buy it. Otherwise, the manufacturing quality is great.

I have used two pairs of these extensively (120+ days combined) in all conditions that could be found, except in rain. They fit and glide very well. They seem to be lasting long time despite being light and thin. I usually do about 3-5 runs when bc skiing and they always stuck despite the glue looking sometimes not so sticky on occasion. Comparing these to skimo race skins or any other skins I ever had, these are the fastest skins out of the box. Can't really compare to any other brand's current skins (b...

I have used these crampons for about 20 days now, with Broad Peak skis and Speed Radical bindings. No problems whatsoever. They were superb for high-alti peaks. I believe now that any ski mountaineer should bring ski crampons with them for spring skiing, however, there was time I didn't believe so :)
