Awesome binding! Weight and performance seem to be pretty ideal at a reasonable price for a tech binding. I love the new heel riser (despite some early breakages) the wide boot adjustment range (way better than the classics) and the toe piece is an impressive upgrade from classic and verticals. My only complaint is the ramp angle. I have grown accustomed to race binding's low ramp angle and now find that i am leaning heavily over the tips....this puts a little more strain on the quads and lower muscles ...

I have several ski crampons and have to agree that these are a must have in the shoulder seasons, ski mountaineering and specific days in the heart of winter. They provide so much confidence when needed and allow you to get crap done in efficient manner when the snow is less than ideal. The Dynafits have treated me well so far but the design does seem a bit thin in one of the main failure points...hopefully they will continue to perform as expected. i have used my others from B&D much more heavily.

So far so good. This is my first true race binding and i have been pleasantly surprised. Super light and perform as intended with no problems to speak of. I appreciate the flat and riser mode options but honestly havent used the flat yet (sounds common not to on such a light setup with good boot articulation).

Agree with postings above. You cant beat this shovel for racing! The weight savings from a "real" shovel for the money is excellent. In real application, it does perform best in the sand box with my toddler rather than digging out a burial.

I owned a pair of 180cm Voile Vectors for several seasons and absolutely loved them! Terrific ski for variable conditions and perfect powder days, they even made me feel like a decent skiier on crummy days (ski gets the credit on this one). They skin and ski a little shorter due to the rockered profile, something i really enjoyed as well. I notched out the tip to take a dynafit skin and they didnt give me any problems. Although pretty light when released, they are now starting to look pretty plump compa...
