I used this pack for the Elk Mtn Grand Traverse because my normal skimo pack would not hold all the required gear. This pack held everything comfortably and could have held a touch more in a pinch. I should note that I packed mine with all my gear as well as almost all the required team gear and had a little room to spare (we had the smallest lightest team gear possible). It is well thought out and rides well. The lid storage is accessible even when buckled down tight. The side mesh pockets are awesome on a...

I have had this pack for two seasons and use it for races and routine backcountry use- it is my "go to" pack for day long outings. It gets used a lot. Pros: It has stood up to the use extremely well only showing signs of wear in little pin prick holes from ski carrying. The velcro closure on the quick access "crampon pocket" is pretty secure and easy to close with a flip of the wrist with the pack on. I have only had it pop open once. The volume of the pack can take everything you need for a light and fast...

The heel on these bindings is very easy to use. The two things I do the most- flipping back the riser in an uphill to downhill transition and stepping in shortly thereafter are butter smooth. This heel piece easily outstrips the Dynafit Low Tech which I have put through the wringer and with which both of these actions are kind of a pain (with both titanium and steel heel springs). The toe piece is fine except for the locking lever which is just a little poorly thought out. You have to manually lock it in t...

I have had these boots for a little over one season and used them at least weekly for training, a few races, downhill days at the ski hill, a 45 mile day and skiing a 14er which included booting the entire approach. PROS: -The boots are very comfortable and I have had no issues with cold feet even though I can be prone to them in certain conditions. I have a low volume foot and with shims and a thick insole, these boots fit well. I wear a euro 44 to 45 running shoe and the mondo 28 was a perfect fit. Thi...

I used these skins for about a year then "loaned" them to my wife who has used them off and on. They do feel much more plush than Pomoca skins and seem to glide a tad less but grip a bit more. They do not have seem to be as water repellant as Pomoca skins even with waxing, maybe due to the plush factor? On the other hand, they seem very durable and while I have chunks of mohair missing from my Pomocas, these skins have held up very well. I think that they make a great durable training and adventure skin as...
