I used the PDG pant about 30 days this past season. It is my favorite rando pant after also using the older Dynafit Movement, and the Millet Pierra Menta. The EU L/US M fits my 32.5" waist well. In comparison, they are more wind resistent than both other models mentioned, and certainly more wind resistant than my race suit. They are durable, and have impressed me with their abrasion resistance when scrambling over rock. I find the mesh pocket low on the right thigh useful for my field book in the pit, ...

Are the sizes sold in US or EU sizes? I wear a EU 48, 32" waist; what size do I order?

This is a good lightweight touring pant, even a race pant if you don't like lycra speed suits. Right out of the wrapper, I added stirrups to keep the pant leg down over my Alien boots. (Dynafit's similar pant already has the stirrup.) The lack of cut-outs for buckles may be an issue for Dynafit boot wearers, if you are also inclined to add a stirrup. This is a review of the Men's Millet Touring Shield Jacket, which may have just sold out at Skimo since I don't see the men's available for a review. Perhaps it's also pertinent to the women's jacket. This is an excellent touring jacket and depending upon weather and race, may be very suitable for skimo racing. It is lighter and more versatile than any other shoftshells I've used. I used the jacket everyday for a week in the Andes. Temperatures were usually 15-30 F, some days overcast, snowy and windy,...

The DyNA has exceptional edge hold. On hard pack and groomers, when well tuned, they feel like skates. Lean forward and hang on. (I'm experimenting with 2-degree side edge for firmer conditions; curious what others are doing.) Also a durable ski. I put Low Tech Race bindings on them; the ones with autolocking toe. Took a tumble on the saddle about 3/4's through Gothic Mtn Marathon in the skidoo wupps...was relieved to not rip the toe binding out of the ski. No worries about stream crossing on the Dy...
