Overview
The Gore Range is super remote and there aren't many easy ways to enter and exit the 60 mile range without putting in a huge day or making it a multi-day trip. The peaks are rugged and there are many great ski lines that rarely get touched due to the difficulty of access. The one exception really is Buffalo Mountain that's quite easy to get to and has a great line known as the Silver Couloir.
Skier access
The best access to Buffalo Mountain is to take I-70 up into Summit County, best to use google to navigate the neighborhood up to Ryan Gulch Road and the White River National Forest trailhead. From here there's usually a skin track to follow into the woods and then up the south side of the mountain till you top out. From there traverse across the broad summit till the top of the line.
