Aside from the east side of Lake Tahoe, most folks don’t associate Nevada with backcountry skiing. But that’s where they’re wrong. Nevada technically has the most mountain ranges of any US state and since a lot of those get snow, there’s ample terrain to ski if you’re into exploratory missions. Once a hidden gem, the Terminal Cancer Couloir is just one of countless incredible lines lurking in the vastness of the Silver State.
