Overview
The Wasatch is quite arguably the best access to great skiing in the world. There I said it, if you live or have visited here you know it. Few places on the planet offer up the heaps of snow that fall here combined with all the terrain you could ask for and it's all available in a healthy sized day of skiing. Now, you might have to fight for parking or a fresh line, but that's another story.
Skier access
Access for the central part of the Wasatch is through the three main canyons; Little Cottonwood, Big Cottonwood and Millcreek. There is of course great skiing to the north and south for 100 miles in each direction, but those fringes get about half of the snowfall totals.
