My Skiing
History: Alpine ski racing, early freestyle circuit, teaching, backcountry skiing, freeheel, ski mountaineering, mostly on heavy freeheel gear.
Currently ski backcountry and lift assist, prefer to backcountry for interesting downhill skiing. I like pretty much everything, but tour to turn. Like all kinds of snow from windpack to powder. I like to ski aggressively, but age dampens that a bit more year by year.
Goals are to continue to learn and enjoy skiing. 71 years old (as of Sept. 2024).
