My Skiing

Mostly backcountry. In CO it's powder mini-golf in early winter then the season really starts in March. Penchant for big lines in the wilderness but I'll ski anything.

My Gear

Technica Zero G Scout fit me really well and ski great, I use these for most everything.

Scarpa Alien RS for uphill at resort, the lightest spring tour, or occasional skimo race.

Atomic Backland 78 for strictly corn or technical ski mountaineering late season
Dynafit Free 107 for just about everything
DPS Wailer 99 for early season tree skiing
Just got Fisher Transalp CTI 98 for this spring, excited to check them out

Last season was tolerable but this season they fall down/back so much (from high riser to medium) I just give up and skin without the riser up, which is a bear breaking trail in powder. It appears that resis...
