My Skiing
I enjoy all kinds of skiing. When I’m at the ski area my best days are on firm fast snow and my Atomic Redster SL FIS race skis. I probably spend the most time on snow nordic skate skiing.
My world of ski touring is either light, fast tours skiing objectives in the San Juan’s (spring/ stable snow) or skiing shots in powder usually on bigger, heavier equipment.
Average day is 4-8 hours 3,000-8,000’ climbing. I’d say big days but not huge.
I’m 48, life long skier. I’ve been touring regularly for nearly 30 years. My goals are to enjoy skiing with friends and family well into my 90s.
