My Skiing

Solid fundamentals but not an expert skier by any definition, realistically all-mountain intermediate-advanced skills.
I don't get backseat, will be driving my boots, directional style.

I ski mostly offpiste.
Very lucky to have pretty good steep but easy terrain to ski inbounds at Sinaia, Romania - I love challenging myself here in various snow conditions, and mostly enjoy making turns on 30-40 degree stuff.

Started touring, light-ish gear, a lot more cautious in the BC, not aggresive by any means.
Want to move on to more technical stuff, couloir skiing etc.

Favourite period for skiing? Spring or even late spring.

My Gear

Alpine:
26.5 Salomon X-Max 120 Race, 96mm last, yeah I have really skinny legs.
179cm Scott Crusades, 92mm underfoot, with Marker Jester, metal top to bottom, almost no rocker, a bit too much ski for me.
181cm Volkl 100Eight with Warden MNC as freeride-powder skis (wishful thinking with the powder), also use it in the spring with my touring boots for approaches.

Touring:
177cm K2 Wayback 96 (1.5kg)
Marker Alpinist
26.5 Tecnica Zero G Tour (the non-Pro, non-Scout, 1.5kg 110 flex model)

I think it's a good first touring setup, skis are maybe holding me back a bit, but dont wanna go fast in the BC anyway.
As the liners are starting to pack I can feel some sloppiness in the boots, otherwise happy with them.

So first of all I have very narrow feet, 96mm in a size 26.4, low volume overall, ankle, calf etc. I've tried the Skorpius in a size 26.5, overall good fit, especially in the calf area where they fit great for my chicken legs. Toe box fit was OK, not too roomy. Mid section felt ok-ish as well for a stated 102 last, altho a bit too comfy. But the ankle area / heel cup was kindof dissapointing, would've really needed more heel hold. It's the same feeling I've got when I've tried La Sportiva Spectre 2.0. Al...
