Oh my goodness... I am facing exactly this kind of situation. Skis mounted for old 281mm Mezzalama. Boots died and are being replaced for the new model as it has the same sole length. So I even decided on taking size 26.5

Hi, Just a few minutes before posting here I got the reply from Dynafit regarding sole lengths for the new generation of Mezzalama/DNA and it seems the listing here is wrong. Dynafit says shell size 281mm accommodates mondo sizes 26.5 and 27 exactly as the old one did. The same information can be found on their website. 281->26.5/27

Great boots, sole 3mm longer than Race/Black. Very stiff, cuff resistant to twisting as PG advertised. They drive whatever ski you throw at them. Race ski? Freetour ski? No problem. My 29.0 weigh 825g each. Shockingly light given their stiffness, which surpasses Alien RS, F1 LT, Blacklight 1.0 or 2.0 at a fraction of the total mass.
