Could you let me know what the max calf size these socks will accommodate? I have a wide calf (18" at the widest point) and am having a tough time finding wide calf performance ski socks. I heard these might work? I just bought 2023 K2 BFC W 95 Ski Boots, so I'm looking for a light or maybe ultralight sock to fit all the padding in the liner.
Thanks for your assistance!
Bridgedale Ski Race Socks - Women
It is a common misconception that skiers must wear bulky, oversized socks. Rather, it generally behooves skimo racers and their ilk to wear something more form-fitting, which won't bunch up in front of the toes, cultivate excessive moisture, or futz with a boot's fit. On top of that, some folks just prefer a thinner sock. If you need an over-the-calf stocking to squeeze into a "performance fit" race boot, the Women's Bridgedale Race Sock is your go-to.
- Supportive, close fit mitigates friction to the calf or heel, and won't sag down.
- An effective blend of "Be-Fresh Polypropylene" with Nylon and Lycra manages humid conditions.
- Flat toe seam and reinforcement prevent bunching in common high-movement areas of the foot.
- Comes with a Bridgedale lifetime guarantee against workmanship defects.

Hi Meghan, hard to say for sure. I tried stretching a size large out to its max with my thumbs on either side of the top cuff of the sock, and it stretches out to just over 8 inches. So that's roughly 16 inches plus the width of my thumbs, which is getting close to 18 inches in circumference. The medium was maybe an inch less around. This isn't a spec that's published, sorry that I can't get you more specific information!
