Hi. I'm debating between the Hyper and Ultra. The setup would be used almost exclusively for multinight spring tours in the Sierra. Lots of rolling basin miles covered and uphill. A good amount of corn but often a lot of variable snow on the higher passes/couloirs. I'm attracted to the Hyper's weight but am fit and have a light setup so I don't want to sacrifice a ski that can handle variable conditions as I'm only an intermediate skier. Would you recommend the Hyper of the Ultra for Sierra spring touring ski? I would be using this setup almost exclusively for multinight, heavy, lots of rolling miles and often as much variable snow as corn. I am a solid skier at 6'1 170'lbs and up to 40 lb pack.
