Hands down the best ski mitt I've ever used. Somehow I still have the dexterity to adjust buckles and open an energy bar (with some teeth involved). Zippers are kryptonite for all mitts, but these perform admirably if the pulls aren't tiny. These also don't seem to lose much insulation value when they get a little wet, which is a huge plus. Bombproof and warm, not much more you can ask for
Bought these to see if the quiver of one glove is possible and I'm happy to report that it is! While I still keep a thick pair of mitts in my pack, most tours I never change out of these gloves/mitts. If I'm too warm on the way up in the gloves, I can probably just take them off and be fine. It's also a huge advantage on cold windy summits to not have to take off your uphill gloves and lose all of that heat just to put your downhill gloves on! For that reason alone, I think they beat out heavier weight glov...
This is a great product if you find yourself lapping chutes and wanting to quickly throw your skis on the pack to boot up for another lap. They'll be more stable in an A frame for longer carries or when it's really windy, but for straight forward booting, the speed of the quick carry can't be beat. I also really admire that blue ice seems to have designed this for any pack, not just theirs. I've used it on two black diamond packs and now two blue ice packs and it worked on all of them. I've used them for bo...

After years of skiing pomoco blues and yellows, I finally caved and got some pinks for my Skimo setup and I can't believe I didn't switch sooner. These things fold up so small in the pack and have performed exceptionally well in a wide variety of conditions. They resist glopping if you keep them well waxed in spring and the grip has never let me down. Having used them on several long flat lake crossings, the glide is great.
I have these bindings mounted on a pair of ultralight 80s for ski mountaineering and they perform much better than I anticipated. They're super easy to get clicked into and with some practice, I can even change the riser settings with my poles! I expected to be leaning down to adjust them, but was pleasantly surprised to find that if you position the tip of your pole in the little notch on the side of the binding behind the tower and then smack down through the top of your pole, they adjust quite readily! I...
