Just trying this now. The hole pattern is nearly the same but not quite. You can get them to sort of line up but if you to this the skin gets distorted and will not sit flat.
I'm now going to drill mine out againy and make a new mounting holes and cutout..I'll lose 1/2" if skin but I can live with that. Pretty creepy of BD not to use the same hole pattern, especially since they no longer make the old style!
