I’m 5’8” 165 and a fairly aggressive skier in a stiffer boot. I was only looking at the 178cm but am thinking about the 171cm now. I know it depends on preference and ski terrain but do these skis ski long for there size? People say they are a little tricky to ski and they have a large turn radius. Maybe I should get the smaller size? Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the reply. What about the Salomon mtn 86 pro? Would my boot be too much for that ski? Just trying to decide between the two… I’m 5’8” 165lbs advanced skier and already have a pair of the alp tracks 95. Would the backland 86 or mtn 86 pro make sense as a narrower, more techy ski?
