Yet another size question here: I’m an expert skier in the wasatch, 5’9” 175ish lbs without a pack. I tour on BD Helio 104s in a 178cm and resort ski on QST 106s in 181cm (which is perfect). I’m leaning toward the K2s in a 172 because I like the idea of shorter skis for more manageable kick turns, less weight on long tours, easier bushwacking, etc. but I’m torn between the 172 and 179.
