I've had a pair of TLT7 Performance boots for two years and they came closer to fitting my wide feet right out of the box than any other AT boot I've tried. I do mostly backcountry touring with an occasional pathetic attempt at rando racing. I'm thinking of getting the TLT8's for a bit more support/control on the downhills while keeping the weight light, but I'm concerned that I read Dynafit may have narrowed them back down for those skinny-footed Euro types!
