My Skiing

I telemark ski on NTN bindings. I ski them parallel too. Mostly ski in the backcountry but visit resorts from time to time. I ski backcountry powder much more than hardpack. Also love corn in the spring and early summer. Usually start skiing late October into early July, depending on conditions of course. My primary style is short radius turns in trees but love to get out in open terrain too. Also like doing jump turns in steep chutes during spring consolidation.

179cm DPS Lotus Tour with Meidjo bindings. 186 SkiLogik Howitzer with Rottefella Freedom Binding, don't like this binding. 179 DPS Cassiar with 22 designs Lynx NTN bindings. 177cm Kastle TX97 and just purchased but haven't skied 179cm DPS Wailer 100RP with Meidjo binding. Boots are Scarpa Termiator and tX Pro .

Alex, i just ordered 100mm skis with the Medjo binding. I am planning to use crampons with mine too. Are you aware of the Meidjo crampon interface for attaching Dynafit crampons? if you know of this interface, is there a problem with it?

I received a pair of 178cm Cassiar Tour 1 skis from Skimo a couple of months ago. It was a real pleasure dealing with the folks at Skimo. Fast delivery, no problems at all. I will definitely do business with them in the future! That said, I am very disappointed with the Cassiar Tour 1 skis for telemarking. I wanted a lightweight backcountry spring ski which could handle variable conditions. This ski skis well on hardpack only, which defeats the purpose of getting a lightweight touring ski!
