The Voile Hyper V6 has been a staple in our lineup since its inception. Years later, it’s still regarded as a “people pleaser” at the shop because we have yet to find anyone who doesn’t have fun on it.
But what actually makes this ski so special?
We went to Voile to find out for ourselves.

These are very smooth-turning, forgiving skis. I have several pairs of V6's for my wife, son, and me. I actually started with the Hyper V6, but now prefer the standard, slightly-heavier V6. The added weight doesn't slow me down much on the uptrack, but handles way better on the down, IMHO. I even use the V6 BC with scales for occasional cross country skiing. The V6 waist width is adequate for skiing powder, but a few more mm is more fun. My first pair of Hyper V6's have a lot of miles on them, from both my buddy and I skiing on them during the early lift closure of covid. He is no longer with us, but I still remember him whenever I look at these skis. RIP, Chaz Esposito - you got a lot of ski days!
