Blue Ice Crampon Parts

Blue Ice’s Harfang crampons are splendidly lightweight, with a minimum of excess parts. However, should you need a replacement, these parts will do the trick. All parts are sold in pairs and compatible with the Harfang crampon series.

ABS Anti-Balling System - TPU plastic plates secure using Phillips screws to the front, secondary, and rear rails to prevent dangerous snow buildup.

Ankle Straps - The final security point in your crampon attachment system, can also extend forward to meet toe baskets for a semi-automatic attachment. They also help wrap the crampons when packed down for storage.

Toe Baskets - Flexible stirrup to render your crampons compatible with speed-nosed boots, à la Dynafit PDG 2 or TLT8.

Toe Bails - Chromoly steel wire bails that fit into one of two slots at the toe rail for a precise fit.

Center Strap - Foldable 40mm main strap acting as the crampon ‘spine’. Made from advanced polyethylene materials.
