During hard tours, to get a little bit more ventilation for when you're pushing hard, there is a zippered leg hem on the thigh, and the waistband is a hook-and-loop 'velcro' system for ease of adjustability. With three additional pockets on the pants- two front zippered pockets and a thigh zippered pocket- you won't be wanting for ample storage of nutrition, goodies, chapstick, and keys. The lower leg features an internal snow gaiter and anti-abrasion fabric around the cuffs to protect you from material wear, even on your most haphazard kick turns.
