This boot will make you want to go skiing. With its lightweight and huge ROM, this boot effortlessly goes uphill. When it's time to go downhill, the two buckles won't hold you back. This boot has an impressive flex that lets ski aggressively down the fall line. You might even forget how many buckles you have. So when buying a pair of touring boots think about the ratio of time you spend going uphill vs. downhill. And then when you are going downhill, be honest with yourself. Are you actually skiing as hard ...

The ultimate spring mission ski. A lightweight ski that can charge. This ski thrives on steep terrain and hand hold an edge on all but the firmest conditions. If you get lucky and find soft snow, there 88 waist width and tip rocker keep you on top. The ski is light enough to keep you going back for thirds and going for long walks if only to make a couple of turns. Only personal gripe is with the sizes, I'd prefer a size between 172 and 182, but that's just me.

Directional and drifty this it the ultimate powder ski. This ski planes with ease and loves to make long drifty turns. The ski craves speed and really comes alive when you open it up. If using for a powder ski, don't be afraid to size up, the ski turns with ease and can be thrown sideways with the mere thought of flicking your ankles. If you get to the top of your object to find yourself skunked, fear not because this ski has enough of camber pocket to get you down with a smile on your face. The Achilles he...
These boots walk incredibly well and Salomon did some wizardry to get those pivots truly frictionless. But those frictionless pivots are also the downfall of these boots. After a season putting 500 miles and 275k on these boots, the pivots are cooked. There's a lot of play at the hinge point that bucks me in the back seat when skiing through inconsistent snow. Putting in a beefier liner can help with this but still don't ski the same way they did out of the box. I replaced these boots with the Dynafit Ridge...
It's great to see Dynafit make proper boots for women who rip. My local shop only had a 27.5 in the "women's" cut. Compared to the men's version the cuff height is the same but I did notice less support from the scalloped liner cuff to accommodate wider/lower calfs. These boots are stiff, maybe not quite as stiff as the men's but barely noticeable when having one boot on each foot. The flex also feels more progressive than the men's version. These boots are stiffer than a lot of other "beefy" touring boots....
