These boots walk incredibly well and Salomon did some wizardry to get those pivots truly frictionless. But those frictionless pivots are also the downfall of these boots. After a season putting 500 miles and 275k on these boots, the pivots are cooked. There's a lot of play at the hinge point that bucks me in the back seat when skiing through inconsistent snow. Putting in a beefier liner can help with this but still don't ski the same way they did out of the box. I replaced these boots with the Dynafit Ridge...

It's great to see Dynafit make proper boots for women who rip. My local shop only had a 27.5 in the "women's" cut. Compared to the men's version the cuff height is the same but I did notice less support from the scalloped liner cuff to accommodate wider/lower calfs. These boots are stiff, maybe not quite as stiff as the men's but barely noticeable when having one boot on each foot. The flex also feels more progressive than the men's version. These boots are stiffer than a lot of other "beefy" touring boots....

Quickly lock down the cuff thanks to the #HojiLock and you'll think you put on different boots. These stiff boots let you drive wide skis through a variety of snow conditions. Reach the bottom of line and do it all over again, and again, and again. Fit wise, I found myself between a 27.5 and 28.5, butt the 27.5 would need a good bit...

would this be a good replacement liner for the Salomon Mtn pro boot if I am looking to take up some extra space in the cuff
