Light, no-nonsense pack that is great for light touring. I also use mine inbounds, as well as for day hikes in warmer months. Pros: - Very light weight. - Close-fitting, for minimal "bounce". - Separate bottom compartment with side access. - Seam sealed; water resistant zippers on top compartment. Cons: - Little structure, so this pack is not suited for carrying heavier loads. (Horses for courses...)

I've been using these boots for 2 seasons as a snowboard hardboot and some light touring. Coming from a snowboarding background, my main focus when looking for hard boots was weight and comfort. I'm not a strong downhill skier, so this was much less of a factor for me. The Scarpa F1 LT ticks the right boxes in terms of comfort, weight and overall touring / hardboot splitboarding experience. I have a relatively wide foot and found the last to be a little narrow prior to heat molding the liners. They fit gr...
