I used the pre cuts on my scrappers but they attached fine and the tail clip worked but overall the skins do not stick well to the bases in any situation so I went back to old faithful black diamonds . The tail clip rarely gives any issues.

I return yesterday from doing the Sierra high route east to west. I bought these for the trip as they are very packable . I did the installation myself, as other reviews state if you are somewhat mechanical you can do it no problem but there are no directions provided . Adjusting the size is pretty simple but I would make sure to have them dialed in at home before doing it in the field . They are awesome At the resort . But like I said I just wish I had the experience of a full release just to ease my mind. As far as dh performance they are awesome and when you use them in the back country you will really like them . The simplicity really stands out and they are super light.
