I just want to make sure your product description is up-to-date. I have 6 pair of these bought over the course of the last few years (with two more just purchased recently) and they have all been aqua blue/teal and none have had the sewn D ring at the tip nor a plastic knob pull. Is this ski carry sort of like the earlier generation CAMP rapid race packs with a D ring that fits into a tensioned clip as they did before they adopted the u shaped race hook quick clip? Also Is there just one chest / sternum strap? That would be nice. Waist strap as well? Thanks
Hey, Chance c. I did get them and still have them and skied them today in fact. They are my go-to poor man’s race boot. I have recently modified them by adding 1cm thick foam behind my calf to increase forward lean but that’s the only performance change I’ve made. They ski pretty good to me and are super comfortable. Wow. I would not normally write a review after only one day on my fourth day of the season, especially when it’s on piste but this ski was surprisingly good immediately. The backcountry is a bit thin in CO for a new ski so I rode lifts today to try this ski out.
