Thanks for clarifying! I could not figure out how to take off the "pivot point" by looking at the back of the boot. Turns out I'm dumb and didn't look at the inside of the cuff until you confirmed that's the piece to move!
For anyone as thick as I am, the "pivot point" is held onto the cuff by two bolts (t20 star bit). Photo attached. For anyone else looking at these boots, there are four forward lean angles. The manual suggests the angles are 19, 17, 15, 13 degrees.

The manual and the internet suggest that there are four forward lean positions available. The two positions on the base of the lever are obvious to me, but I can't figure out the other way to adjust the forward lean. Credit to the picture is to the wildsnow review of these boots and the caption says "Two distinct positions are available for the bolt to slot through, but flit the pivot piece around and you can access two more." The What is the pivot piece? Is that the piece the bolt is slotting through?...

I won these for podiuming in a splitboard division! Kudos to CAMP for sponsoring local skimo races in the Pacific Northwest and donating some swag. I actually was cursing my Arc'Teyrx light leather climbing gloves in the Mt. Ashland Skimo race where I won these. They were too cold after getting wet and did nothing against the wind. So winning these was basically the best prize I could ask for - tailor made for skimo racing with a bit of insulation. I have used them for both fitness laps and two races n...

What's the recommended sizing if you fit both S/M and M/L? I'm right in that 32" waist and 23" thigh zone. Does the sizing include layers? I'm concerned the waist might be too small on the S/M and the thigh too large on the M/L

Thought I'd show my ski loop mod too! As noted in my review, I replaced the ski loop with nylon webbing and a buckle - though just making it a bit longer is a great idea. I also added a small loop of elastic cord in the same place - handy if I want to stow my poles - use that loop and the x-press carry on the shoulder and it's pretty secure.
