I just got a pair of C-Raider 10s and my plan for them is to 1) remove brakes and throw in a brake pad cover, 2) Freeride spacers, 3) toe shims since I have small feets (BSL 283). What size shim would you recommend based on how I want to mod these bindings?
I treated myself to a pair of these beauts last winter and promptly fell in love. They handle any conditions except for the deepest of powder, and even then can manage up to 6 inches of freshies without too much issue. However, it’s harder snow and corn where they really shine. I spent a lot of time fitness uphill-ing at my local resort where I would carve corduroy to my heart’s desire, or as I fondly call it “lay trench”. They ski downhill very w...

I am currently trying to decide on a new pair of skis to buy and have narrowed it down to the K2 wayback 88 and the Ripstick 88. I live in the PNW and need a ski that will be light enough for long days skiing volcanoes but are also fun on the downhill. I like a ski that is responsive and snappy with tight turns but can also handle bigger carving turns. Because conditions can be pretty variable, I also want my ski to edge well when things get firm. Would the Ripstick better fit my needs and desires or the wa...
