Dynafit markets the Speedfit 84 an uphill fitness tool, but what we see is a well-designed and versatile ski at a great price that’s super fun to cruise on consolidated or unconsolidated snow. Compared to other skis in the mid-80’s waist width category, the turn radius on the Speed 84 is long, which, combined with the tip and tail rocker, offers incredible versatility. While comfortable with long turns at speed, it’ll dive right into a high angle carve. The tail turns up just enough to offer a forgiving attitude in crust or when finishing a turn isn’t the best idea. But the support is still present so you can rely on it to carry speed you through low angle traverses, back-seat skiing, and when your speed warrants having a stiff and supportive tail. The Dynafit Speedfit 84 is a solid all-rounder that is guaranteed to put smile on your face.
- Long turn radius makes skinning fun, with side-slips, pizzas, and speed-checks smooth as butter.
- Tip-notch allows for seamless integration of matching precut Dynafit Speedskin.
- Full-length, micro-sidewall increases durability and keep the skis quiet under pressure.
- Reinforced alloy tail hook protects the core from damage.
