I have the new ZGTP and have been having a little bit of slop in the fit of the boot. What would be the next step up in volume, 9mm, 12mm, or 15mm?
How would these do skiing the Faction La Machine Mega in the 184 length? I’m planning on using them for mainly powder skiing albeit rather aggressive with high speeds and big turns but I want to get a little sendy on them when conditions permit. Plus what bindings do you guys think would pair well with it?
Maybe a dumb question, but, how would these ski the Draco Freebird in the 189 size? When I say skiing, I mean trying to ski like Mr. Schirmer albeit 10x less hard because I’m not that good.
How does the release compare to an ATK Freeraider with higher release values? I skied my 13s set at an 11 but had prereleases at 10. I like to charge stuff and don’t want to sacrifice that, I’ve heard that the Slatnars ski but just curious on any release testing if you guys have done any.
How do you guys think this ski would perform on steeper more consequential terrain such as the Grunge or NE Couloir of Lone Peak. I try to chase these lines in soft snow but inevitably you end up getting them in barely edgeable snow. I’m looking for a 88-100 underfoot ski for steeper skiing but also springtime cruising on big faces. Something that holds a decent edge but is fun in softer snow as well such as corn, chalk, and smaller amounts of powder.
