Hi, after a while I would like to add a follow up here. Mounting back worked well for some conditions, for others not so much. Difficult spots, refrozen chunk, anything grabby is where tips startet to wander. So went back to near recommended and tried the for me counterintuitive way, increased binding delta slightly and reminded me to ski really forward, "austrian" if you will. Like this, the TX94 seems to ski as intended. Bottom line, nothing wrong with factory mount point, only with my expectations.
Hi Jbo, I found it to line up not too well in a test mount, then I found an official Tyrolia template on the web (same layout as the ambition template), which specs 39.5mm. This refers to to the distance between the horizontal lines that connect the rows of holes. Not hole to hole. I can confirm that this layout works perfectly. All the rest is spot on.
Hi att, tried that. There are holes that give access in one position to that particular pair of screws, but you cannot remove the screw for good because of the hole shape.... or am I missing something? Thanks
Hi, is it even possible to get the rear pair of heel screws out? they come pre-installed and It looks like the heel turret doesn not come off the rail on either end? Thanks!

Hi Carlos, thank for your in-depth answer. I have to add that I felt the tails even when carving groomers- not hooky, but too present. I also pressure the boot a fair bit. I have in the past had a few flat tail AT skis- Scott Crusair, K2 Mt Baker, Backlash etc. (all of which have mounting point north of -10. None hat this hooky feel. Therefore, I redrilled at approx. -1.5cms. These skis are quite sensitive to mount point it seems! The feel longer, but in good way. Tail issue gone for me, completely. More ...
