so I cant figure out why they arent compatible. Toe toe part works (obviously) and it looks like the heel has plenty of lug to engage with. I tried stepping in and everything seems jolly but I haven't tried to ski this way (and am a little afraid to do such)
So now that you can't find this ski anywhere, what is the closest "modern upgrade" to it? I have heard great things about the versatility of the mythic and can't find any of these in the 177cm length, even used.
Almost light enough to keep up with the skimo boys but so much fun on the down. I have skied everything on these things: groomers, skimo races on moguls, steep crusty east coast ice, spring volcanoes, light Colorado fluff, narrow jump turns and I keep grabbing these for 80+% of my days out.
These bindings are great. I love the lightweight full feature category. Sometimes I lock up the brakes and use the heel riser like a skimo binding and other times I use the flat and tall settings like a more conventional heel tower. My knees appreciate the adjustable release value. My only 2 complaints: the toe piece is hard to unlock from skin to ski for inflexible people like myself, and I have had the toe piece completely ice up twice; otherwise these are awesome kit
I usually wear a medium in most American brands, but I seem to be stuck halfway between a small and a medium here (5'9, 160lbs, 39.5" chest measurement). Which size do you suggest?
