I only ski Wasatch pow. On these HyperChargers that is. Very fun and confident ski. Prior to owning this ski I had a Hyper V6 which I’ve retired due to it missing some power. What the V6 lacks, the HyperCharger owns. This is the ski I reach for unquestionably when there is 6+” of fresh or recycled powder. Mounted with Atomic Pure bindings and skied exclusively with a Dynafit Mezzalama boot and Contour 100% mohair hybrid skin. Wicked fast and capable combination. The Mezzalama is easily enough boot to pair w...

These skins came with Backland 95 177. I have about 20hrs use in varied, but mostly cold dry midwinter Wasatch touring. Glide is very good, grip is also very good. Sounds like a lovely ski. Is it too much width to be used as a quiver of one for the Wasatch? Some reviews speak to the Pagoda 112 handling crud and crust well are appealing. The short radius, rocker and damp ride sound super fun. I don’t tour every day, and I try to favor the favorable days. Coming from Bent Chetler 100’s and 120’s, boots are Hoji Tours but moving to a Free this season. Also have Alien RS boots but might move to something somewhat more stout before too long. Thanks

Curious how you think the Hoji Free compares in the real world to the Hoji Tour (which I own). I’ve read the specs, just wondering if you have any side by side experience to share. Thx
