Hi, I'm replacing the blown liner in a pair of LaSpo Skorpius 2, 26.0. With the OE liner (not horrible like version 1) it was a minorly tight midfoot & instep, OK forefoot and loose, floppy heel :/ that begged blisters. Said liner is now a lifeless sack. I would love to snug & increase the heel pocket hold substantially without resorting to L-pads & butterflies. Unafraid of heat molding the forefoot/midfoot sections down. What do y'all think? Evo MV? Hi. Anyone have any idea if the "freeride" line of zip-on packs are compatible with "tour" packs? Might be nice to have an avy pack for the touring days it's warranted, plus an 18L sidecountry/cat day option using the same back :). I'm guessing yes, as long as the zip-on's are same back lenght (S or regular).
Yep, heavy. And miles better in every way, up and especially down. Good pairing with ZGPT. Please report back after some ski days. Hints: Several folks remove the power strap (overkill), some even sand the hard waffle outer down a bit (less for weight, more for entry). Google & practice the "world cup entry" that every junior alpine kid does, it works nicely & is handy for drying them, shoehorn generally not needed.
