My Skiing

I live in the PNW and ski most weekends and some weekdays. Most every Friday night I ski 3 miles of groomed XC trails (to ski lodge). One of the weekend days is normally a bigger day covering 6-10 miles of BC terrain. Much of this is being out with companions and training for our annual Ski Patrol (19 miles) race. I also ski the volcanos (St. Helens, Rainier) a few times a season, typically in spring when there's nothing good left to ski down lower. I run warm and look for gear that lets me stay comfortable while in motion.
