The avalanche awareness bible as far as I’m concerned. Tremper’s guide is extremely dense and provides in-depth technical instruction on snow science as well as a very thoughtful section on the human factor. I try to skim it every year and seem to pick up more information as I gain experience.

After using these just a few times, I’m totally converted and plan to switch over my other setup to pomoca as well. PLUSH: Works great. No issues with grip or durability yet. Seems to shed water and stay dry all day. GLUE: The best glue I’ve used. Sticky, not gooey. Easy to pull apart. No issues with snow creep. Do these bindings have forward pressure in the heel? In other words, gap or no gap? Thanks in advance!

The bottle holder is my new favorite way to carry water on a pack. Ideally your pack has some kind of horizontal line on the strap to mount, however it’s not hard to rig something up if it doesn’t. Pairs well with the dynafit insulated bottle

Can you even skimo without a dynafit lid? Sweet hat that feels lightweight and doesn’t seem to hold water at all. Sizing feels very average - I snap all buttons at size 7 1/8
