Awesome pack. This is my standard daily touring pack when carrying avalanche gear. I find using a true race pack is a bit too small and gets overstuffed and quite uncomfortable pretty easily. Zippered crampon pocket is great for making sure stuff doesn't fly out, great bottle access up front, perfect size. A bit tight if you're trying to squeeze a rope, but short of that it's perfect. I did have the ski carry bottom loop tear off, I just drilled holes in the loop and anchored it back on with mechanics wire ...
