Unlike its full-nylon ancestor, the Ascension Skins, the Glidelites feature a mohair/nylon plush that balances glide, traction, and durability. The Glidelite skins come in a lighter, more packable package that also provides better uphill glide. Score! These skins use BD's Gold Label adhesive, which is amongst the tackiest on the market (no failures here), but will also rip easily enough when it's time to go down.
