The front of the garment, usually exposed to inclement weather, uses JOY insulation, a biomimetic insulation that works similarly to down, but with the quick drying properties of synthetic insulation. For enhanced breathability, Vuelta fleece fabric is used on the lower back and under the arms, helping ensure you can dump heat and moisture on big days in the mountains. Two-Face fabric is used to reinforce the back and shoulders against friction caused by a pack and general wear and tear.
