This was my first dedicated ski touring jacket and it has been so much better than touring in full waterproof gear...it breathes so much better! I still use the jacket quite a bit, but it does have a couple design flaws:
1) There aren't any internal skin pockets and the handwarmer pockets aren't big enough for large skins. The pockets will each fit a small/medium skin, but stiffer skins for large powder skis definitely aren't going to fit. In that scenario I just put them loose inside the jacket, and with a pack waist belt, they don't fall out. It's not ideal, but it works.
2) The other issue is the placement of the pit zips. They are rotated farther rearward than on any other jacket I've owned. This makes it very difficult to adjust on the fly, so I usually have to resort to asking someone to zip/unzip me, or take the jacket off to make a zipper adjustment.
