I've now got five races in the newer 2016/2017 Millet race suit and I've been very pleased.
Fit:
6'4" (165lbs) -> Large
Fits perfectly, snug but not restrictive fit. No loose material.
Pockets:
Big fan of the double interior and double exterior pockets (4 total). Helps keep skins, nutrition and hydration organized up front. Plenty of stretch to stash away a few pairs of skins if need be.
Cuffs:
Lower leg cuffs fit nicely over a set of Fischer Travers Carbon boots (~1kg). I made two vertical cuts for the cuff buckle which, while starting to look a little frayed, haven't expended too much.
Material:
Great colors, sleeve and leg material seems very durable. I've knocked it around against a handful of rocks, branches, and trees now with no visible scuffing or damage. Zips are holding up well with no problems or abnormal friction. Ventilated back was mentioned in the reviews - honestly haven't noticed it being there in a good or bad way. Once over a baselayer and under a pack it doesn't make much difference most likely.
Overall great fit for a tall lanky guy. Pleased with the materials and colors. I'd recommend to a friend.
Named after the “Tour de France of Skimo”, the Pierra Ment’ racing suit is designed to win it. Ergonomically cut with a stretchy nylon / elastane blend, the abrasion-resistant suit features an open-mesh back for maximum ventilation. It’s also the only suit on the block to feature an integrated hood, offering top protection from the elements. Now just imagine if you go and win the Pierra Menta in a French skin suit…
- Flatlock seams and 100% stretch fabric prevent chaffing during hours of uphilling.
- Integrated hood makes for a perfectly sealed environment when the weather is nasty.
- Two Direct Access (meaning from the outside) pockets in the front for stashing skins.
- Internal pockets are designed for an avalanche beacon, energy gels, headlamp, etc.
- Stirrups hold the cuffs in place while scuff guards protect them.
Update 2016/17: Millet added a zippered beacon pocket and updated the colors.

Which color option is the 2016/2017?

Hi Pete, the black legs are the newer color, the full acid green is from 15/16.

Open-mesh back? Sounds chilly on a windy day. Any comment on that feature? Also, any front zip access for nature breaks?

Hey John! It's not quite as open as you'd think and the panel is pretty small. Don't get me wrong, the back panel is still crazy ventilated even for a race suit, but underneath a pack it'll probably actually keep you warmer on a windy day than a race suit with no ventilation back there, just because it reduces the sweat buildup underneath a pack. No zip, but there is a flap which is pretty sweet, though it does limit the amount of/type of base layers you can wear.

Does the legs have cut outs for dynafit boots.

Hi Ryan, the suit doesn't have any marked areas for buckles, but you can pretty much cut anywhere in the cuffs.
