When it comes to avalanche rescue and safety, time is essential, and gear should reflect that priority. With the Focus Pro Beacon's patented voice navigation, you receive clear verbal instructions during every phase of the search. The Focus Pro also offers greater search strip widths, 80m to other brands and 90m for Ortovox to Ortovox beacons. A secondary 'Avalanche Switching' mode acts as a protective function for rescuers that are not actively searching. As the big brother to the Focus Voice Beacon, the Focus Pro beacon offers an array of features like deep burial marking, Pro check, and an analog audio option. When in standby mode, the beacon's transmit signal will be suppressed to avoid interfering with search modes used by active rescuers. If no movement is detected during this mode, the Focus Pro beacon will automatically return to transmit mode after two minutes. When in search mode, there is a continuous display of distance to the nearest transmitter (up to 4), and you can overview and scroll through multiple burials to target the signals independently. The search strip width can be adjusted from 20m to 3m to minimize interference and prioritize the nearest signal.
