Hi Kevin, The Elan and the Hagan race skis are very comparable. The current generation of the Elan is slightly stiffer than the Hagan, and has a little less sidecut and a slightly longer turn radius (23m vs 21m). While the Elan might feel slightly more at home in longer radius turns, the difference will be subtle, and I would still say the skis are more similar than they are different... I wouldn't say one is more race oriented than the other.

Hi Stanley, There should be a ski crampon receptor included in the box to be mounted on the toe piece. The attachment is compatible with both ATK and Dynafit ski crampons. Shoot us an email at help@skimo.co if you're not seeing the receptor in the box.

Hi Robert, This will be a bit thinner than both the stock Zero G Tour Pro Liner and the 9mm Intuition. For what you're describing, the 9 mm Intuition should be your best bet. It takes up roughly the same amount of space as the stock liner and is quite moldable.

Hi Isaac, These are a perfect layer for skimo racing mandatory gear. Worth noting that the material used is waterproof. If you're looking for the lightest possible zip off wind layer (not waterproof), I'd check out the Dynafit DNA Race Wind Pant.
