I am notoriously hard on gear, and have used these bindings on 3 different skis with no issues. they drive skis from 80-100mm very well. I have not changed my ski style to accommodate for the lightweight binding...and have no reason not to trust them in exposed terrain.

Solid ski....punches beyond it's weight in deeper snow...mostly due to the 138mm shovel. The ski is not stiff, and is very easy to ski in powder. Great float The soft tip and sidecut make it tricky in certain situations skinning with slight loss of grip when the shovel is flexed. Overall, this would be a good ski for someone who wants to try to kill their quiver. Volkl (kohla) skins that are made to match the ski are OK...the tip rip is difficult to pull, and they do not have much glide, or grip. I woul...

Wonderful, easy to ski powder ski. Paired with the ski trab skins, the ability to tip rip, combined with the "shark fin" tail clip makes for fast transitions and skin security...meaning more skiing and less standing around. Easier to ski than the blizzard zero g, without sacrificing stiffness or playfulness. Great quiver killing, daily driver ski.

How does this boot compare to the Alien RS / Alien 1.1? Could it drive a ski over 90 cm?
