Movement Alp Tracks 102 Ski
Splitting the difference between the Alp Tracks 98 and 106 as Movement's flagship powder touring ski, the Alp Tracks 102 is making its debut. While the outgoing models had a playful spirit that could only be described as "free," the incoming 102 has recently concluded its mandatory military service and promptly enlisted in the Swiss Guard. While we wouldn't consider this ski to have a "straight and narrow" sidecut, a stiff flex and high camber lend themselves to a locked-in and stable feel when put on edge, especially at high speed. Utilizing a pre-impregnated (not out of wedlock) bi-axial carbon fiber laminate on top of a paulownia core, Movement took great care to ensure the ski handles predictably with no unwanted surprises. Cork inserts in the tip help absorb unwanted vibrations, while the Speed Base is as stubborn as it is hard. Designed for advanced to expert skiers looking for a predictable and aggressive soft snow platform, the Alp Tracks 102 from Movement will faithfully, loyally, and honourably serve you.
- Double Plate Reinforcement keeps your bindings locked and loaded on your skis.
- P-Tex 4500 Speed Bases can be waxed or skied waxless, depending on your preferences.
- Cork tip spacers are strategically used to absorb vibration, keeping your legs fresh on engaging descents.
- Pre-preg bi-axial carbon fiber allows for consistent and reliable handling.
- Race Edges are precise, lightweight, and ready to carve vicious arcs.
- Made in Switzerland, just like all members of the Swiss Guard.
