I've been using the ATK Freeride spacer with Ski Trab Titan 2's. First off, to use the Freeride spacer, you need to have plenty of space under your heel. it won't work with lower stack race heels, even with an adjustment plate. You need 12ish mm of space between your heel and your topsheet.
If you have that space, awesome! The Freeride Spacer is a bit of a PITA to install and adjust, so fiddle with it and budget some time and frustration. I'd call this a 1.5 beer job. It helps a lot to jam an extra screw ...

Sometimes I get annoyed when I'm out on one of my setups with heavier bindings and find myself thinking "why do I need these when I could just be on Trofeos?"
No, they are not the sexiest, shiniest thing on the market, but they're affordable, durable, light, and they just plain work. Without the heel adjust plate, they're one of the flatest options around. I didn't think I was particularly sensitive to ramp angle, but after spending a bunch of time on Trofeos, my Trab Titans feel too steep. I really like ...

I spent two seasons touring in this boot, and completely put it through the ringer. It's got a nice, high volume fit that agrees well with my weird feet, and a nice combo of skiablility, and easy walking.
However, I did run into some durability issues. Both instep snowboard-style straps ended up cracking after about 50ish days of use. I also had some weirdness with buckles coming loose and falling off while touring. Not a big deal, but check the torque on your fasteners and maybe hit them with some loctit...

This boot is sick, if your foot fits in it. I know, I know, that's how ski boots work, but let me explain:
Of course it walks well, no surprise there. Great ROM, easy stride, light weight, climbs great! I know some folks feel like the upper power strap/cam lever mechanism doesn't have enough throw for smooth walking without additionally loosening it. I didn't find this to be the case at all. I set it to a comfortable pressure for the down, and then opened it, and had plenty of ROM. That said, I have less a...

First off: I have very high volume feet. They make boot fitters sad. Wide forefoot, high arch, high instep, fat ankles, average heel. My feet hurt in most touring boots, no matter how much punching and molding I get done. So, when a buddy told me these boots fit "like an airplane hanger" I was intrigued. No, they're not that roomy (luckily) but they do fit my weird hobbit feet better than anything else I've jammed my foot into. They fit fine, with no punches, a first for me! As far as the other important th...
