Last year I kept blowing up the zeppas in these getting in and out with GFTs. I have heard I'm not alone. It was disappointing because I never had that problem with the old version. Any indication Tecnica is making them more durable going forward? If I wanted to try a different boot that strikes a similar balance to this one, any recommendations? Head Crux Pro?

Yeah man daily driver is a Tour Pro. I also got a lot more heel hold out of the F1 LT with the patriot footbeds liner sleeve w/ the foam inserts in Really stoked on the combination of these two boots--think I'll be even more stoked w/ the XT
